GREYMOUTH, 14th April, j Following are the available dredging returns: — Pactolus, lßoz gold for 137 'j hours' work-; Grey River, 9oz for the keek; Duller Junction, 31oz for 116 j hours'; Buller Dredge, 28oz gold for two weeks.' ._ j The return for the Reef ton Kirwan's j Reward was 1430z of amalgam from' 108* tons (top plates only). The Grey River dredge waa not dredging on the bottqm last week. There, 1 seems to be uncertainty as to getting the ladder lengthened. Some insist that a new dredge is necessary. Orders have •been received to . get the Fold's Creek dredge ladder lengthened by Bft. The Waipuna was not forking last week. CfiRISTCHUROH, This Day. The Greenstone Creek Goihpany re£orte a return of 3o« for its first wash-up on Saturday. *-[bt telegraph— own correSPONUEnt.] , DUNEDIN, This Day. The Magnetic dredge-master reports: — " Buckets patted and top tumbler. All are in the river, but will be able to get them." .< - The Great Western dredge, which cost £5600, was put up for auction on Saturday, and passed in at £500. The Secretary of the Four River Plain Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., reports that last week tne dredge obtained lOoz 9dwt for 118 hours' work. ,
