Of greater age than Queen Victoria is the Queen of Hanover, who, though in exile, still holdu her titla by courtesy. She has, however, held no ruling position for more than a generation. Queen Mario lives at Gmuuden, ia Upper Austria. She lias few of the infirmities of age. She still drives and walks out, taking an.notivo interest in the world's affairs ; and she looks, as indeed she is, a Queen without a country. The Queen of Hanover will, if sh» lives, bft 83 t)«xt April, so that she is nearly a year older than Quoen Victoria was. Tie e\ Em press Eugenic, who has been a olose Mend of the dead Queen for many years, is 7fl. Older than all these,, however, is the Princess Clementine of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who is 84 this year.
