CABLE NEWS. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH-. COPYRIGHT.] A DISASTROUS CRUISE.

» , TORPEDO DESTROYERS DAMAGED [MtESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received April 13, 9.8 a.m.) LONDON, 12th April. All the Devonport flotilla of eight tor- s pedo destroyers lately sent for a three weeks' cruise were crippled by a heavy wave in the Bristol Channel. The destroyer Seal was struck by the full force of the sea, and had her back broken. It is feared the damage is irreparable. The Bat and the Wolf have leaky condensers, and the engine-power of the Locust was found to be insufficient. [The regular daily tidal wave in tho Bristol Channel, especially with certain winds, and at the time of spring-tides, raises a very formidable "bore."]
