[I>RESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 2nd March. The residents of Ellershe have presented Mr. Justice Cooper Auth an address congratulating him on his elevation to the Supreme Couit Bench. The presentation was made at the railway station by Sir G. M. O'Rorke. • AUCKLAND, This Day. The Federation Commission opened its sittings here this morning. In order to induce mounted men to enter the tournament to be held in connection with the Zsev/ Zealand Rifle Association Meeting on the 28th, arrangements will be made for a camp, forage to be supplied at cost price, 'ihe Piemier desires the match for men returned from I South Africa to be called "Our Boys from the Front Handicap." All who enter wilt get the usual railway passes. OAMARU, This -Day. There is magnificent weather for ' the reception of the Indian troops here today. The town was never so packed before.
