The fourth round of tho Pennant matches was played on Saturday. Newtown defeated Thorndon on the Wellington green by the narrow majority of one, and Wellington beat, Petono by 26 points oh the Victoria green. Newtown, having beaten all the other clubs, wins the banner. The scores in yesteiday's matches were : — - NEWTOWN V. THORNDON.
