INVEROARGILL, 16th November, Business in the oats market is dull, but the Imperial Government's order for 5000 tong may give a fillip to values. The Australian colonies are not buying freely, and new Victorians will be on the market next month. Prices to farmers for beßt "B" grade range from Is 2£d to Is 3id, saoks extra, on trucks up country.
The Customs duties oollected at the Port of Wellington for the week ending to-day-amounted to .£6158 14s lid. Beer, .£137 7s 6d.
