An appeal was received from Carterton Club, which protested against the actiop of the Wellington centre in granting a permit to the Wairarapa Cycling Club whilst refusing one to the Carterton Club. Tho league decided to ask the Wellington centre for the reasons which guided its action, [This decision is remarkable

in view of the fact that the secretory of the Wellington centre forwarded with the Cartcrton Club's appeal a very full account of the centre's reasons for granting' the permit to the Wairarapa Club.]
