The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) reports as .follows regarding its Palmeraton North sale yesterday: — "We had a fair yarding of stock, although several lines advertised did not #>me forward •on account of tho rough weather. There was a good' attendance, but bidding was slack, and all classes were dull of sale. Wo, however, effected a good clearance. • Wo quote: — Sheep — Fa-t ewes 16s, wethers 15s. Cattln — Weaners 275, 31s; yearlings, £2 Is, £2 Ba, £2 15s; 18-month heifers, £2 15s, £2 19s ; 2-year heifers, £3, . £3 5s ; store cows, £3, £3 15sj; cows with calves at foot, £4, £5 2s 6d ; milch cows, £3 9s 6d, £3 15s; 3 and 4 year steers, £5 10s. Pigs — Weaners, ss, 6a; stores. 9s 3d.'
