NEW ZEALAND'S RIGHTS RECOGNISED. [press association.] (Received November 2, 9.6 a.m.) SYDNEY, Tins Day. The Right Hon. J. Chamberlain, Secretary of State for. the Colonies, replying to Sir William Lvne's inquiries with reference to New Zealand's annexation of the Cook Islands, says the islands are regarded as being different from Fiji, as they have been under the control and practically a dependency of New Zealand for some time. Sir William Lyne regards this message as a ratification of the annexation of the Cook Group.
