• This morning a small boy, who was dodging about on the sewer which juts out beyond the To Aro reclamation, fell into the harbour. He was seen to disappear by Mr. A. Garrett, who promptly went into the water after him, and brought him safely and unharmed ashore. -„ A boy named Davis, employed on Messrs. Johnson and Johnson's contract for the erection of Messrs. Laery and Co.'s new auction mart on Jervois-quay, fell $bout 16ft while assisting to put in a skylight this morning, and was badly hurt on the right arm and about the shoulders and head. He was attended to by Dr. Fell, and was then taken to' his oAvn home in Whitaker-street.
