DROWNING CASE.
6> | A BODY FOUND NEAR KAIWARRA. ; At about midday, John Hicks, an em})loyee of. Mr. Banks, wholesale butcher, discovered the body of a man under a wooden shoot on the beach between Kaiwarra and ' Ngaliauranga. ' The deceased iras of a dark complexion, about sft 7in in height, and the body appeared to have been in the water only two* days. It is feared that the remains are those of Mr. Cullimore, father of Mr. F. Cullimore, the billiardis't. Mr. Cullimorestayed at the Rainbow Hotel, Kaiwarra, on the 21st ult., and left the next day, since which time he has not "been seen. As we go to press wo~4earn that the body has been identified as that of Mr. Cullimore, senior, who was a pianoforte' tuner.
