[u:r telegraph— oavn correspondent I NELSON, This Day. The steamer Rotorua, Avilh the Wellington representative team on board, arrived in Nelson at 10 o'clock this morning. The players were warmly welcomed, and driven to the Coach and Horses Hotel, Avhich Avill be their headquarters Avhile iv Nelson. About an hour's practice Avas held at Nelson Park. Calnan, M'Guirk, and Hawko have been elected as the Match Committee. Keen interest is being taken in tomorroAA^'s contest. Wellington is the favourite, but the local team expects to give a good account of itself. THE OTAGO ASSOCIATION TEAM. On it? arrival by the Rotomahana at 11 o'clock this morning, the Otago team was met by a number of members of the local Association, including Mr. Gibber, Vice-President, Mr. M'Keowen, Hon Secretary of the Management Committee, and several members ot the -representative team. As the Rotomahana came alonside the wharf tho \isitors Arere greeted with a hearty round of cheers, to which they responded. The Southern men, who had o good passage, are in first-class form, nnd from appearances, to-morrow's contest should ,be a Avann one. The visitors have taken up their abode at the Central Hotel. A Special carriage has been reserved to take the teams to Petone tomorrow. The train Avill leave tho Government Station at 2.25. From the four names submitted as eligible referees for to-morrow's match Mr. Gibbes has been, selected. The following aro the teams for .the representative match, Otago v. Wellington, at the Petone Recreation Ground, to - morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock : —Wellington— C. Bernsten, H. Godber, B. Swain, B. Clark, J. Paton, H. Renai, J. Macdonald, A. Wells, P. Martin, J. Collins, A. Mouatt. Colours —White. Otago— V. Lothian, Brown (2), J. Laing, B. Dodd, J. Nagle, S. Middlemass, M-Millan (2), C. Chedwick, and I. Morrison. Colours— Blue. ' '
