SNOW IN THE WAIRARAPA. [BY TELEGRAPH— OWN CORRESPONDENTS.]
FEATHERSTON, This Day. A heavy faul of snow took place 'last night. All the ranges round about are snow-capped. CARTERTON, This Day The whole of the hills surrounding the Wairarapa Valley are thickly covered with snow morning.
Yesterday at Sydney-street Primitive Methodist a double wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. j.ur. Mann. The parties Mere Aliss Martha. Kilmister and Mr. Allen Wilton, and Miss S. Hughes and Mr. Arthur Kilmister. There was a large leathering in the church which was decorated, and had arches of flowers and evergreens in both aisles. A hymn was sung as the brides' passed down the aisles. Miss Kilmister wore a white cashmere dress trimmed with silk, and her bridesmaids were Misses May Wilton, L. Bell, and Wichman, who wore dresses with chiffon fischus. Miss Hughes wore a white cashmere, and her bridesmaids were Misses M. Hughes, J. Kilmister, and A. Hughes.
