NOTICE OP BYLAW RE POULTRY, j I^TTOTICE is hereby given that the follow--L^l ins Resolution was adopted at a Special Meeting of tho Council held on Monday, the 14.-th day of May, 1900, at 7.30 o'clock in the evening : — The Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes (by special order) tho following Bylaw under .and by virtue of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886," and all the otlier Acts and powers whatever enabling it in that behalf. Snob By-law to come into force on the 28th day of June, 1900. , The above-named resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday, the 14th day of June, 1900, at 7.30 o'clock in in the evening. The object and purport of the eaid Bylaw is us stated below, and a full copy thereof is deposited for inspection at the office of the City Council, Brandon-street f J. E. PAGE, Town Clerk. 16th May, 1900. The object and purport of the above-named Bylaw is as follows :—: — 1 . To repeal clause 190 of the existing bylaw and to provide that no poultry shall be kept in any part of the City, except in properly constructed poultry houses or in a suitably enclosed run ; and no poulLry-house shall be built at distance less than 50 feet from any dwelling-house or from any street; and no run shall have its outer fonce at less distance than 10 feet from atiy boundary of adjoining premises or from any street. ' ) 2. Runs to be so constructed as to confine the poultry within the same. 3. Existing poultry-houses and poultryruns to bo made to conform to the above conditions. 4. A License Fee of five shillings to be payable annually. 5. The term poultry shall include all domestic fowls, turkeys, geese, ducks, and pigeons.
