.©. 'A meeting of the Wellir/g/ton. Hockey 'Association was held last J/iVght. It was decided that there should 'be two classes this season. — a senior 'ariid a junior. Messrs. W. E. Pearson, r f J. Wilson, and Hallis were selected tot k form a match committee and also a postponement committee. Mr. Pearsoa was also chosen to act with Messrs. H_ Cooper and W. Dasent in picking, representative teams. St. John's Club vas admitted to membership. Wellington will play two representative hocfeey matches this season, viz., against Hawkes Bay at Napier and against Canterbury in Wellington. 1 A. short time /ago Mr. H. J. Palmer, of Lanvbton-quajv, presented a cup for competition by tie senior hockey players in WeHmgtcKi, and he has now given a similar tropby/,for the Junior Championship.
