THE SIEGE OF MAFEKING.

RETURN OF. CASUALTIES. LONDON, 29th May. The total casualties amongst the garrison during the siege of Mafeking numbered 294. Out of forty-four white officers six were killed and fifteen wounded. Among the 975 men under arms sixtyone were killed, a hundred and three wounded, and twenty-six are missing. Twenty-five coloured men were killed and fifty-eight Avounded. The non - combatant casualties were chiefly among Baralong natives. Only four non-combatant whites were killed and five wounded.
