« WELLINGTON REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the Wellington Referees' Association was held at the Trocadero last night, Mr. D. M'Kenzie presiding. Mr. Brodie resigned his «,3 Secretary, and Mr. W. Beck, late of the Auckland Association, was appointed in his place. Mr. G. N. Goldde, who was also at one time Secretary of the Association, resigned membership. It was resolved '"JLliat when an objection to a referee is lodged prior to his appointment such objection be acceded to." After «ome discussion a resolution was carried "That this Association heartily endorses the action taken by the Rugby Union in re Air Norns'* report on rough play, and that Mr Noi - ris has the full support of tHis Association in his action in sending a report direct to the Rugby Union." It was decided that the bylaws should be printed. The following appointments were made for next Saturday's games :—Senior—Oriental v Old Boys, Petone No. 1 ground, Mr. A. Campbell; Athletic v.
