Weather.— B, blue sky, be the atmosphere clear or heavy ; C, clouds, vass>:nj? clotuls ; D, drizzling rainj P, f ojrsry ; G, gloomy, dSrk weather; H, bail; li, h^litcim,- ; LI, misty; O, ovorenst, the whole sky covered witb thick clouds ; I', passing showers; Q, squally; E, rain, continued iain; S, snow; T, thunder; U, ugly threatening appearance. Wind— Gale from between west and south-west and south at nil places, changing towards southeast on the east coast southward of Cape Campbell Bakometer — Rise everywhere Sea— Very heavy on all western coast; heavy on east coast tonth of Castlepoint Tides — Very high on all western coast and on east couob south of Cope Palliser; good from thence to East Cape ; moderate rlqewhere Bain is probable jjeuerally, and snow on the high country of the South Island Colder weather is to be expected everywhere Warning: signals for -westerly kolcb are exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen, Tiritiri, and Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, and Foulwind SVNOrSIS OK LAST 2i HOUItS. Decreasing pressure everywhere until about 5 pm, since when it has increased slowly north of Napier and New Plymouth, but has generally decreased slowly everywhere else. NW to S\V Kales have been experienced on the west coast of both islauds, with heavy thunderstorms nnd hnavy rain northward of Cnpo Egmont and Tauranga, and snow has f.illen on all high country in Otago. Low pressure from north-west is now on the east coast of the South Island, nnd tiavelling to SK. Low pressure from west will puss east of the meridian of South Cape late on 13th inst It. A. EDWIN
