the moneys which tho railway employees are raising towards the War Relief Fund. It was decided! that the railway employees in the Wellington-Napier district should ' contribute to tho fund one day's pay, with a further contribution of one hour's pay per member every four weeks until peace is. proclaimed. Mr. C. W Johnston (Petone) was elected honorary secretary, and Mr. C. W. Haines honorary treasurer, a strong committee being also Bet up to organise the obtaining of subscriptions. Messrs. Jack, Brooks, Valentine, and Mayne were elected delegates for the district on the Central Committee.
