NAPIF.R, This Day. Playing for rhe County Club in the cricket match against the Poverty Bay representative team yesterday, A. Gore made 236. This is the highest score recorded in New Zealand in interdistrict cricket. Cuff, who scored 176 for Canterbury against Auckland in an interprovincial match a few years ago, previously held the honour.
