ENTHUSIASM IN CANADA.
OTTAWA, 3rd January. Unbounded enthusiasm is being displayed in Canada over the despatch of a further draft of men to South Africa. Major Borden, sop. of the Hon. F. W. Borden, Minister for Defence, has resigned his commission in a Hussar regiment in order to serve as a lieutenant with the Canadian Mounted Infantry. Many other officers are enlisting in the ranks from similar motives.
