iPItKSS ASSOCIATION.! (Received December 21, 0.43 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. With tho view of bringing the session of Parliament to a elo.se to-day, yesterday's sitting of tho Legislative Assembly still continues. Bills authorising the issue of four millions' sterling worth of Treasury Bonds and increasing the Probate and Stamp Duties have been passed. The question of the colony's preparedness in the event of complications was raised. The Premier stated that 30,000 rifles were available, and 5000 more had been ordered. Ho announced that tho Government intended to lake steps to start a, local ammunition factory.
