[PRKSS ASSOCIATION. ] AUCKLAND. 10th December. At Taupo, before Liput.-Colonel Roberts, S.M., a case Gallagher v. the Bank of New Zealand was heard. This was a claim to recover £15 14s for board and lodging supplied and services rendered to one of the bank employees while suffering from a severe illness. It a ipears from the evidence that the solicitors to the defendant bank had notified the plaintiff in writing that unless he discontinued his aotion they would defend it, and he (petitioner) would be saddled with heavy costs. Gallagher, however, had taken no notice of this letter.v Judgment wag given for plaintiff for £15 14s and costs £2 3s 6d.
