Tbe following are the official quotations of tlio Frozen Meat Trade Association for mutton and lamb, in lots of 100 carcases of fair avorage quality :—: — Mutton. — Now Zealand crossbred wethers aud maiden owes— Canterbury, 1-10' d lower, at 3 1-llid per lb ; Dunedin and Southland, nnobangod, at 2 15-I6d ; North Island, unchanged, at2l3-16d. Hiver Plato crossbred or merino wethers — Heavy, unohangert, at 2 9-lGdi light, unchanged, at 2 9-IGd. \ Lamb. — Prime Canterbury, |d higher, at 4Jd per lb uominal ; fair average (including 1 Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and second.ary Canterbury), unchanged, at 3id, ' WOOL. Wool is very firm. To date, at the present series of London wool Bales, 88,415 bales have boen catalogued and 85,194 sold. At the wool sales yesterday bidding was less spirited, but prices remain unchanged. The Argentine wool clip is estimated at 225,000 tons, and the exportable wheat surplus at 2,000,000 tons. Tho Department of Agriculture ( has received the following cablo message 'from the Agent-General this morning :—" There has. been no alteration in the butter market since last weok. Cheese is quoted at 58s per owt. Market firm,"
