[press association.] (Received November 24, 9.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Legislative Assembly has agreed to the Legislative Council's amendments in the Navigation Act Amendment Bill, which has therefore been passed. The Legislative Council has thrown out the Workmen's Compensation Bill and the Coal Mines Regulation Amendment Bill. The latter provided for an eight hours day for miners. The Totalisator Bill has passed its final stages.
