ANOTHER MINE-FIELD EXPLODED. LONDON, Bth November. Ihe special correspondent of the Daily Mail has lelegraphed that the Boer forces around Mafeking recently bomoardod the position, throwing three hundred shells into tlie town. Only four members of the garrison were wounded. The investing foroes then tried to carry the place by btorm, but were unable to withstand the Maxim and rifle fire o£ the defenders, and finally fled in a panic They were drawn over an exploding mine field in their flight and suffered great leas.
