PALMERSTON NOTES.
[BY TELEGRAPH — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Palmeeston North, Tnis Day. An extraordinary police prosecution will be heard here next week. The Prohibitionists throughout the colony use envelopes with figures and facts about Clutha printed on them. Mr. George Grant, a local resident, is being prosecuted for using these envelopes without an imprint. The horse fiend had another victim this week. A grey pony, the property of Mr. Reed, butcher, was stabbed on the fore-leg, ihe wound being similar to tljose inflicted on the other horses in Palmerslon.
