Auckland, Bth February. Several cases of sly-grog selling were heard to-day before the Stipendiary Magistrate. Florrie Campbell aud Irene Stewart pleaded Guilty to a charge of selling beer without a license. They stated they were leaving the colony. His Worship imposed a fine of £10 in the case of Campbell (against whom there was a previous conviction), aud £5 in the other case, with costs 10s 6d each. Mary Dooley pleaded guilty toa similar breach of the Licensing Act, and was fined £10, aud costs 13s.
