, «, A meeting of the North Island Trotting Association will be held at Palmerston this evening, at the Club Hotel, at which it will consider the appeal of Mr. H. D. Limbrick against the disqualification of RockAyood (Avinner of the Hutt County Handicap) and rider (Mr. EdAvards) by the Wellington Trotting Club. The Wellington Club submits that the Association cannot consider the appeal, as it is a question of fact, against Avhich there can be no appeal according to the rales. The case has greatly exercised the sporting journals and fraternity throughout NeAV Zealand, and the result will be loked forward to with very great interest.
