This morning, in the semi-finals for the Rink Championship, Taieri (Carswell, skip) beat Canterbury (J. M. Taylor, skip) by 18 to 17; and Christchurch (Barnett, skip) beat Dunedin (Gillies, skip) by 19 to 18. The finals will be played to morrow afternoon
