LONG-DISTANCE FLYING. [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

Auckland, This Day. The Auckland Flying Club held a race from Foxton to Auckland yesterday. Mr. W. Frickers Hauraki No. 2 covered the distauce (270 miles in a straight line) in 8 hours 45 minutes. Mr. Chilcott's Grafter was second. The prize was a trophy presented by Mr. H. Brett. The next race will be from Wellington.
