Novel Handicap, one mile. — Plotter, Bst, 1 ; Victim, Bsd 2lb, 2 ; Linksbot, 7st 2lb, 3. , Also started— Lord Zetland,. Bst 121b. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 50sec. Dividends, £2 17s and £2 Bs. The winner was ' bought in for £20. Grandstand Handicap, six furlongs. — I Tiger Lily 5 by St. Olair — Mountain Lily, 7st 9lb, 1 ; Cherrystone, 6st 10lb, 2 ; Benson, Bst 101b, 3. Pitch and Toss had the best of a fine race in the straight, and Cannonshot, who came with a great rush, beat Plotter on the post by a head for second place!)
