THE PAYNE FAMILY.

4 The Paynes have, in theatrical parlance, " caught on," and are filling the Exchange Hall jiightli'. Some new items were added to -last night's progi'amme, the diversified character of which gave infinite pleasure, and there were frequent encores. The Bellringers, who are always worth listening to, contributed several good items, including some well-known melodies which were most effective on the bells. The songs of Misses Forbes and Daly, the Misses Payne and Mr. Saunders, the skirt dance of Mr. Harry Payne, Mr. W. J. Payne's sleigh bell selections., and the mandolin trio were all capital items, and the performers earned their reward in hearty applause. The programme will be repeated to-night.
