"RTTOTICE is hereby given that an ExtraJUM ordinary General Meeting of the Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company of New Zealand (Limited) will be held at tbe Chamber of Commerce, Wellington, on tbe 4th day of January, 1899, at 8.15 p.m., or as soon afterwards as the Annual General Meeting convened for 8 o'clock that evening shall be concluded : — j 1. To consider, and, if thought fit, approve tbe draft new Articles of Association, which will be submitted to tbe meeting, and in event of the approval thereof with or without modifications 2. To consider, and, if thought fit, to pass, a resolution to tbe effect — " That the new Articles of Association already approved by this meeting, and for tbe purpose of identification subscribed by the Chairman thereof, be aud the same are hereby approved, and tbat such Articles of Asssociation be and they are hereby adopted as the Articles of Association of tbe Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company of New Zeaand (Limited), to tbe exclusion of all the existing Articles of Association thereof" Should the resolution be passed by the required majority, it will be submitted for confirmation as a special resolution to a second Extraordinary General Meeting which will be subsequently convened. A print of the proposed new Articles of Association is deposited at the registered office of the Company, situate in Lambtonquay, in the City of Wellington, and is there open to inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.
