the l'esults were : — Trial Handicap (harness) — Buckland's Val, scr, 1. Dividend, £1 10s. Pony Handicap (saddle) — Lassie, 17 sec, 1. Dividend, £15 2s. Boxing Day Handicap (saddle), of 120 soys ; two miles — Vesta Nash, 23sec, 1 ; Awahuri, 19sec, 2. Ten started. Won easily. Time, smin 7 2-ssec. Dividend, £5 6s. Advance Handicap (harness) — Buckland's What, scr, 1. Dividend, 18s. Progressive Handicap (saddle) — Ebony, 1. Dividend, £4 2s. Addimgton Handicap (harness), of 120 soys ; two miles — Rosewood, 24sec, 1 ; Monte Carlo, llsec, 2. Fritz, scr, and Sam Slick, 22see, also started. Won by a nose. Fritz refused to leave the mark till the others had nearly lapped him. Time, smin 12sec. Dividend, £18 4s. Electric Handicap, (saddle) — Heather Dew, 1. Dividend, £3 2s. Dash Handicap (harness)— Vickery, 1. Dividend, £2 18s.
