THE POLLARD SEASON.
The vivacious Julie Bon-Bon, otherwise " The Gay Parisienne," with her selfstyled f rere, Monsieur Auguste Pompier, and with the various other amusing characters in this latest production of Mr. Tom Pollard, provided another . three hours of wholesome fun and laughter for the second crowded house of the season last night. Miss Campion as the fair Julie, Mr. Percy as the mercurial Auguste, Mr. Alf. Stephens as Ebenezer Honeycomb (a "shining light"), Miss May Beatty as the slavey Ruth, aud Mr. Harry Quealy as Major Fossdyke, who are the chief fun-makers, kept the audience in a mirthful mood throughout. One of the best "bits" falling to the lot of the gallant Major and. Ruth is the scene following their decision to go "on the stage "—a capital little burlesque in itself is the result. The comedy wants plenty of action, and gets it. Solos and concerted numbers were doubly and trebly eucored, the several pretty dances captured applause, and altogether the merry jingle quite kept up its reputation as a laugh-maker. ,
