HaxVtera, This Day. The inquest as to the death of Mr. George Roache, who was poisoned, has been adjourned pending an analysis by the Government Analyst of the stomach. At present it is not known who supplied the poison or what particular substance it was. Dunedin, 27th September. It is not known whether the gun accident to Thomas Plato, who was killed on his wedding day, was accident or suicide. The body was brought into Queeuslown at the hour the ceremony was fixed for.
