VICTORIAN CHARITIES.
» AID FROM THE LICENSING COMPENSATION FUND. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received July 4, 9.25 a.m.) Melbourne, This Day. In the Legislative Assembly, Sir George Turner has introduced a Bill to appropriate £20,000 from the Licensing Act Compensation Fund in support of charities. The measure further provided that £10,000 should be taken from the fund in each succeeding year for a similar purpose.
