GOVERNMENT HOUSE. THE "AT HOME."

Tho "At Homo " given at Government House yesterday by Lady Ranfurly in Honour of Admiral Pearson was very largely attended. Tlio ■ guests, who nnmbrred about 1500, \>-eve received in tho drawing-room by the Governor and Lady Ranfurly and the Admiral. Tho Countess wore a handsome gown of embroidered muslin over rose-pink talk, with broad sash. Lady Constance Knox was also in pink silk w ith insertions of lace. Tea was served in the dining-room.
