A CANTERBURY JUBILEE EXHIBITION.

[BY TELEGRAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] CnRisTCHUBCH, 26th May. A special committee of the Canterbury Industrial Association to-da} r decided to recommend the Association to at once announce its intention of holding an exhibition of New Zealand manufactures and products under the management of the Industrial Association in 1900 to celebrate the jubilee of Canterbury. It was decided to recommend that the Canterbury Jockey Club and Agricultural and Pastoral Association should be asked to hold their metropolitan fixtures in the jubilee year in December, instead of November, so as to fall in with the jubilee celebrations, which Will take place in the latter month. It was also agreed to recommend the appointment of a committee on similar lines to those of, the last Canterbury Industrial Exhibition.
