Napieb. 26th May. At a meeting of the Presbyter}' of Hawkes Bay to-day, Dr. Sidey reported that under the will of the lato Mr. James Anderson, an elder of St. Paul's, Napier, the following sums were assigned for church purposes : — £500 to found a scholarship for students for the ministry, £500 towards a new church for St. Paul's congregation, and £150 for an organ. The reversionary interest in £3000 after the death of three ladies in Scotland, and the residue of his estate, are left in equal parts for church extension in Hawkes Bay and tho poor connected with St. Paul's Presbytery.
