Winu— Between north and west and south-west at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, nnd between north-east and north and west at all other places Bauomrtkr— Pall everywhere Ska— Heavy ou all western coast after 16 hours, and ou east coast south of Napier Tides — Good and increasing- on all western coast ; increasing 1 on east coast south of Napier ; low from thence to East Cape, and moderate elsewhere Moderate westerly winds are to be expected northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and strong northerly winds in all other parts of the country SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS Northward of Napier and New Plymouth the barometer has contimied to rise slowly, but in all other parts of the country it has fiillen slowly since 8 pm.
