The authorities have received a cablegram announcing the arrest of Elliott and Lee, the Atmospheric Gas Companj' promoters, on arrival of the Moana at San Francisco. The British Consul and American authorities, however, agreed that the offence was not one for which the men could be extradited, and they were subsequently released.
