The Cycling events will bo hold under the Rules of tho N.Z.C.A. and N.Z.C.U. The permission of these bodies lias been obtained to hold the contests under their rules and regulations. fFiremen's Bicycle Races are only open to men who are and were members of a Brigade prior to Ist November, 1897, and competitors must be attired in full fire unilorm. Entries (accompanied by nomination fee and record of previous two years' performances) for all handicap events must be sent to tho Secretary, Wellington, not later than 18th December, irom whom entry forms may be obtained. Any competitor giving false information as to his performances will be disqualified. No entries for tho handicap events will be received after that date. All other entries close on 20th December, after which date entries will not be roceived for any event. Nominations for the Caledonian Grand Handicap, 2s 6d ; other handicaps, 2s. Acceptances for each distance of the Caledonian Grand Handicap, 2s 6d ; for other handicaps, Is. Entries for all other events, 2s 6d each. Boys' competitions, Is.
