[by telegbaph.— own corbespondent.] Gbeytown North, This Day. The banquet given by the Greytown residents to the natives last evening at Papawai was very successful. Three hundred natives and Europeans were present, and the Mayor (Mr. Heagarty) presided. Captain Tunhaorangi, of the Native Contingent, was the chief Maori- speaker. A ball was held afterwards, and the whole affair was the most enjoyable gathering of natives and Europeans yet held.
