Ward in the case for the plaintiff in the action Brooks & Co. v. the liquidators of the Colonial Bank, the case was concluded yesterday, and most of the evidence for the defence taken. The case brought by Connell & Co. against the same defendants was then proceeded with. It is on the same lines as the < other, and so far as is applicable the same evidence will be used.
