Wind — Between north and west and south-west at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth and southwards of Lyttelton and Hokitika, and between north-east and north and west at all other places Barometer— Further fall everywhere, but rising at all places southward of Timaru and Queenstown after 12 hours Ski— Heavy on all western coast of both islands, and after 12 hours on eastern coast south of Napier Tides— High on western coast of both islands, and good on eastern coast south of Napier Westerly gales, probably with rain, are to be expected at all places southward of Gisborne and New Plymouth SYNOPSIS OV LIST 24 HOCE9 Northward of Napier and New Plymouth the barometer has fallen very slowly, out it rose steadily everywhere else until about midnight, and since then it has fallen again about the same amount.
