ROUGH WEATHER IN AND ABOUT SYDNEY.

[PKESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received July 20, 10.20 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. A heavy gale and rain have prevailed since Saturday, and still continue. The sea is very rough, and many vessels have had to seek shelter. The disabled steamer Tanais, which was being towed from Brisbane for repairs, had a rough time, but arrived here safely. Five inches of rain have fallen in the city since Friday, and the rainfall has been heavy generally throughout the colony.
