Wisd— Between north and west and south-west at all places northward of Napier, Taupo, and Baglan, and between north-east and north and west elsewhere, ohanging by the west at all places south of Oawaru and Queeustown , Barometer— Fall everywhere Sea— Heavy on all western coast, and on east coast southward of Napier Tir>ES— High on all western coast of North Island, and on eastern coast of both islands from Napier southward ; moderate elsewhere Northerly gales, with rain, are probable in all parts of the country, changing towards the we3t at all plaoes south of Oamaru and Queenstowu after 12 hours BINOPSI3 OP LAST 24 HOURS Bising barometer everywhere until about 3 am, and since then it has fallen a little at places southward of Napier and Wanganui. Modei-atesoutherly winds hnve been experienced generally, and the weather has been very cold in all part 3of the country, with hard frost in all parts of the South Island excepting the western coast E.
