[PEESS ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, 15th June. Archdeacon Paddington, of Tamworth, a prominent Churchman, is dead. Dunedin. 15th June. A cablegram has been received announcing the death, at pea, of Mr. F. J. Towusend, manager of the Duuedin branch of the Bank of Australasia. He was on a trip to Europe, having obtained nine months' leave of absence, and was on board a P. and 0. steamer with his wife and one child. It is presumed that he succumbed to the great heat in the Red Sea. He was very popular, and was giveu a great send-off on leaving Dunediu,
